The Dallas Opera – Great Scott production page

The sound design position for The Dallas Opera’s “Great Scott” world premier was offered to me after their world premier of Everest went smoothly. Great Scott had a number of desired sound elements by the artistic team of director, Jack O’Brien and composer, Jake Heggie.

There were a number of sound cues that required very specific speaker placements on and off the set. In order to make everything source from the right set of speakers, we used (8) discrete outputs from a redundant Qlab 2 system. Details to follow
